9 Commissioning software

9 Commissioning software

9.1 USB connection

1. Download CDV commissioning software to
a PC or notebook.
2. Carefully remove the frame of the RLS 45 K.
3. Connect the PC/notebook to the Micro USB
interface of the RLS 45 K.
4. Call up the CDV commissioning software.
5. Press Establish connection via USB. The
parameters menu appears.
6. Configure the ventilation system and save the
parameter settings.

The ventilation system can now be configured
with the commissioning software.

9.2 General setting parameters

Setting parameters for the ventilation system, ac-
cessory components or mixed systems with PP
45 and PPB 30 units.

9.3 RV 2 setting parameters

The setting parameters for RV 2 ventilation sys-
tems are summarised in the specialist installer
level, menu item Basic settings, in the RV 2/
CPP units menu.
The automatic search can be used with an even
number of RV/CPP devices. Ventilation units
that belong together are automatically grouped
and unit pairs are formed.

10 Changing air filters

ATTENTION
• Change the air filters of the ventilation unit
when the filter change indicator appears on the
room air control (rapidly flashing LEDs).
• Never operate the ventilation unit without an air
filter. The ventilation unit becomes dirty and un-
filtered substances can enter the rooms.
• Generally, change the internal and external fil-
ters together.
• Only use original air filters with the prescribed
filter class. Otherwise there is a danger to
health from harmful substances that can accu-
mulate in the air filter.
• Change the air filters regularly, after 6 months
at the latest.
• Replace the air filters even after the ventilation
unit has not been used for a longer period of
time.
Change the air filters as described in the
following chapters.
Confirm the successful filter change.
The filter change indicator flashes when the
filter is due to be changed.
RLS 45 K: Current LED flashes.
Performing and acknowledging
filter change: Press and hold both
buttons for 5 seconds.
