7.4 Automatic search (Plug & Play)
For RV 2 and CPP 60 units when assigned in
pairs (even number of units).
In the automatic search, the factory-set unit ad-
dresses (100 to 250) of the individual ventilation
units are read out. The supply air and exhaust
air units of the same unit family (RV 2 or CPP
60) are then paired.
Alternatively, you can also carry out the process
manually using the commissioning software.
This is required for an uneven number of
units. For manual configuration → RV 2 install-
ation and commissioning instructions.
For RV 2 unit address, see sticker next to the
connection terminal.
Make sure that an even number of units from
the same unit family are installed and that no unit
address is used more than once (otherwise a
communication error will occur and the search will
not be saved). Otherwise, reconfigure the factory
address of the individual units using the commis-
sioning software.
Start automatic search
1. Call up the service menu.
2. Select the last parameter Plug & Play. The 3
LEDs on the left flash slowly.
3. Use to select 1 = Start Plug & Play
search. During the search run, the ventilation
level LEDs light up (running light, approx. 1
minute). Cancel with
exhaust air units are automatically paired with
the determined unit addresses.
The values are saved after a successful search.
The number of units found is displayed with the
ventilation level LEDs.
The units are categorised in chronological order,
alternating between supply air and exhaust air
units.
Example with 4 ventilation units and addresses
110 / 180 / 185 / 220. Automatic categorisation as
follows: 110 = supply air / 180 = exhaust air / 185
= supply air / 220 = exhaust air.

Error when connecting an odd number
of units
If the search fails, the ventilation level LEDs in-
dicate a fault and flash quickly.
The service menu is exited automatically
after 120 seconds and does not need to be
cancelled.

Radio operation with the RV 2 units takes place
via the PP 45 EO EnOcean radio module. This
is connected to the RS 485 interface of the RLS
45 K (master).
Radio switches are used to select the operating
mode and ventilation levels. Radio sensors sup-
ply the ventilation system with measurement data
for automatic operation.
• A total of up to 8 devices (DS 45 RC radio
switches, radio buttons, radio sensors) can be
taught-in via the PP 45 EO.
• The PP 45 EO EnOcean radio module is activ-
ated in the service menu or with the CDV com-
missioning software.
• The teaching-in or deletion of the radio com-
ponents is only possible with the commis-
sioning software (specialist installer level). For

Radio components which can be taught-in
(EEP protocol)
Radio components must support the EEP pro-
tocol. The following radio components with the
specified EEP no. are approved for RV 2 sys-
tems.
