2. MACHINE SETUP AND ADJUSTMENT
2.1 FEEDING THE TAPE
To feed the tape from the dispenser, the support must
be fixed using the supplied knobs.
Working through the dispenser allows cutting using the
built-in shear mechanism. When the center of the clamp
passes the end of the panel, you can activate the shear.
(Fig. 1)
You can also feed precut strips from the additional input
ramp. This option is very useful for repetitive jobs.
Do not mount the dispenser when using precut strips.
Measure the length of the panel to be edged, add 4 cm
of excess for the start and 0.5 cm for the end, and cut
the edge strip to this length.
(Fig. 2)
2.2 TAPE PASSAGE ADJUSTMENT
• Loosen the column knobs to allow movement and
slide the movable jaw to ensure a smooth passage for
the tape (Fig. 3).
• Verify the tape movement between the jaws is smooth
(Fig. 4).
2.3 ADJUSTMENT FOR OVERHANGING TAPE
APPLICATION
Loosen the knob and move the fixed jaw to the inner end of
the slot. Retighten the knob to secure the position (Fig. 5).
With the fixed jaw tightened in this position, the tape
will have a 1.5 mm overhang (Fig. 6).
2.4 ADJUSTMENT FOR FLUSH TAPE APPLICATION
Loosen the knob and move the fixed jaw to the outer end of
the slot. Retighten the knob to secure the position (Fig. 7).
With the fixed jaw tightened in this position, the tape
will sit flush with the panel (Fig. 8).
2.5 JAW PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT ON THE PANEL
With the panel placed between the jaws, push the movable
jaw until it contacts the panel (Fig. 9).
Then, using the millimetric scale, tighten the jaw 1 mm
to apply the necessary pressure to the panel (Fig. 10).
3. STARTING THE MACHINE AND JOB
PREPARATION
3.1 POWER ON AND STARTING THE MACHINE
Zero-joint edge:
Connect the machine to the power supply and switch
it to position II.
Within 2.5 minutes, the machine will be ready for edging.

Meanwhile, secure and prepare the panel for edging
(Fig. 11).
Pre-glued edge:
For edgebanding with pre-glued tape, preheating the
machine is not necessary. Set the switch to position I.
3.2 JOB PREPARATION
1. Fix the edge support onto the panel.
2. Ensure it is aligned with the surface to be edged.
(Fig. 12)
4. PERFORMING THE EDGEBANDING OPERATION
4.1 STARTING THE OPERATION
Turn off the machine (position 0), insert the tape from
the guide under the roller to the retainer support, and
secure it using the knob (Figs. 13 and 14).
4.2 EDGEBANDING OPERATION
Turn the switch to position II and perform the edge-
banding. Note:
• Adequate force must be applied to perform correct
edgebanding.
• Move at a speed that allows for proper pressing force
(Suggestion: slower than typical thermofusible edging)
(Fig. 15).
5. MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the machine from the power supply before
performing any maintenance tasks.
Blade replacement:
Remove the screw (Fig. 16) holding the blade holder on
the gluing roller. Turn the machine over and loosen the
three screws (Fig. 17) that secure it to the fixed side.
Remove the blade holder from the machine (Fig. 18).
Remove the tape guide (Fig. 18), the deflector, and the
rear blade (Fig. 19). On the top of the blade holder are
the heads of the screws (Fig. 18) securing the front
blade. Loosen and remove these screws to release the
front blade. Replace the blades and reassemble the blade
holder in reverse order of disassembly.
6. NOISE AND VIBRATION LEVEL
The noise and vibration levels of this device have been
measured in accordance with European standard EN
60745-1 and serve as a basis for comparison with other
machines with similar applications.
The indicated vibration level has been determined for the
device's main applications and may be used as an initial
value for evaluating the risk presented by exposure to
vibrations. However, vibrations may reach levels that
are quite different from the declared value under other
application conditions, with other tools or with insufficient
maintenance of the electrical device or its accessories,
reaching a much higher value as a result of the work
