Adapt the stabilizer to the fuselage, which will only be possible if you
have given the center section ol the leading edge the desired shape
as per plan. Sand the stabilizer according to the section shown.

In oder to be able to install the lhree elevator hinges, you will have
to cut three slots at the äppropriate locations, in the stabilizer as well
as in theelevator. Determine wh€rethe slotsshould be madebyrelerring
to the Dlan.
To make the slotting for the hinges easie( we would advise you to buy
a Carl Goldberg'Hinge Slotting kit' (also distributed in Europe by Multi-
plex under their Order nr 3156). Slotting the parts to r€ceive the hinges
will be an easy task if you use this special slotting tool.
Do not glue the hinges into place at this particular point; once the parts
have been prop€rly slotted, you only need push the hinges into the
slots 'dry' to see if they work, then you can disconnect the elevator
trom the stabilizer again.
