Shape and sand the fin and the ruddgr by reterring to the various
sections. The rudder is not streamlined, it should show lhe same lhick-
ness oI 3 mm all along lts widlh. You can slightly sharpen the trailing
edge, and round off lightly the top of the rudder.

Now markthe position otcontrol-horns 24.In orderto do this, temporarily
assemble the rudder and the elevator to the fin and the stabilizer with
the hinges and mark the conlrol-homs' anchoring pojnts with a pen.
Take rudder and elevator otf again and drive the hinges into their slots
with some glue, so that they may not come ofi. At this point theretore,
the hinges are only attached permanently to the elevator and fin.
One could right now permanently assemble the rudder to the fin and
the elevator to the stabilizer. For practical reasons however, one usually
wails until the model is entirely covered. Indeed, whether one decides
to cover the model with iron-on film or the paint it, both methods will
be carried considerably easier il the surfaces have not yet been hinged
permanently.
Building of the group fuselage-empennage is now compleled.
