5 Operation and display description
You must carefully read and understand this instruction manual before start-up. It is essential that you
follow all instructions regarding the safety of the operator and surroundings.

Values that can be changed by the operator are marked by a checkmark in the lower right corner of the
display. Many parameters can only be changed after entering an authorisation code in order to prevent an
unintended change.
If a value has been changed, this is labelled by the exclamation mark in the lower right corner of the
display. If you want to accept this value, you have to confirm it with "OK".
BEHNCKE Level Control / Operation and display description
NOTE
If the BEHNCKE Level Control is used in conjunction with an external filter
control, it must be in the "Manual ON" state.
You can switch through the following modes by
repeatedly pressing the I/O key:
• Control system OFF
• Control system via time switch
• Manual control system ON
