You must carefully read and understand this instruction manual before start-up. It is essential that you
follow all instructions regarding the safety of the operator and surroundings.
3.1 Electrical connection
All work on the electrical connection may only be carried out by a trained

Installation
Make sure that the control system is switched off!
Open the 4 fastening screws on the display.
Carefully remove the display panel. Be careful not to tear off the connecting cable.
This can be gently pulled off, together with the plug, both on the display board and on the control board.
Pre-drill the holes in the desired location in the wall. Attach the control unit to the wall with the help
of suitable dowels and screws (drill pattern is embossed on the back of the control unit, see also the
"Technical illustrations" index).
Correctly run all the necessary cables through the PG gland (suitable for 4.5-10mm cable diameter).
Connect the cables correctly, according to the connection diagram (see "Technical illustrations" index).
Carefully reconnect the display cable and secure the display panel using the 4 screws.
Make sure that the gasket in the display panel is seated correctly and tighten the screws correctly so that
they can fulfil their function.
Unused cable glands should either be replaced on site by a dummy plug or correctly sealed.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Danger to life from electrical current!
There is an immediate risk of death when touching live parts. Damage to the
insulation or individual components may be life-threatening.
If there is damage to the insulation, immediately switch off the power
supply and arrange for it to be repaired.
Work on the electrical systems may only be carried out by electricians.
Whenever work is carried out on the electrical system, it must be
disconnected and checked to ensure that it is off.
Switch off the power supply before carrying out any maintenance, cleaning
or repair works and secure it against being switched back on again
Do not bypass or disable safeguards.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
A main switch with a preliminary fuse and a 30mA fault current circuit breaker
must be connected ahead of the device.
