Defrosting
tips
To accelerate the defrosting process place
a saucepan
containing
of the freezing trays.
Under
no circumstances
heater be placed inside the appliance to
accelerate the defrosting process
Be extremly careful when using defrosting
sprays, these may accumulate explosive
gases, contain solvents which may damage
the plastic parts inside the appliance and
propellants
which may have an adverse
influence on your health.
Avoid chipping or chiseling at frost or ice;
it can damage the freezing trays.
(Local frost layers may be reduced with a
rubber spatula. In no case should you
scrape down to the freezing trays).
It is better to simply let the freezer defrost
by itself.

Cleaning
Before cleaning make it a rule to unplug
the appliance and/or remove the fuse.
For better results, cleaning should always
follow defrosting.
Ensure that cleaning water does not get to
the control panel.
Luke-warm water with a little liquid
detergent is perfectly suitable for cleaning
all parts of the appliance, except for the
door
seal.
Sand, abrasives or acid containing
cleansers
should
not be used.
Wipe door
simply with clear water
and rub well dry afterwards.
To clean freezing bins, it is easier to totally
remove them from the appliance. Fig. O. To
remove, pull freezing bin outwards until it
catches, push upwards and then remove.
After cleaning, plug-in and switch on
appliance once more.
