Error current mode: the device indicates the error state on the current output according to the setting below. The error indication set
as below persists until the error is cleared.

Startup mode: when switching on or restarting the 2298 after a power failure, the current is transmitted until the device starts
measuring. It is recommended to set it to the fault current of the system. For periodic applications, selecting the "Fast" recovery
mode is recommended to shorten the measurement cycle time.

Description
The value of the output
current is calculated from the
measured value using the
parameters P10 and P11. The
output of the transmitter is
active.
The value of the output
current is not calculated from
the measured value. Instead, a
fixed output current (P08) is
sent to the output. In this
mode, the setting of the fault
current mode is irrelevant.
