Cleaning the Dust Container and HEPA Filter
Empty the dust container after each use or, if necessary, during use. In the latter case,
always make sure the vacuum cleaner is off. The app will display a full dust container
warning.
1.
Open the top cover, grasp the dust container by the handle and pull it out of the
vacuum cleaner.
2. Open the lid of the dust container and empty the contents into the trash. From a
sanitation perspective, it is best to empty the dustbin outside living areas.
3. Carefully remove the HEPA filter frame from the dust container and shake out the
filter. You can also clean it using the provided brush. HEPA filters may not be rinsed
in water. A damaged or excessively soiled HEPA filter needs to be replaced. When
clean and dry, insert the HEPA filter into its frame, then insert the assembly into
the dust container.
Note:
A dirty, clogged or damaged HEPA filter reduces suction power and thus
cleaning efficiency. Make sure to keep the filters clean.
4. If required, the dust container can be rinsed in running water, then set out to dry.
5. Make sure the dust container and HEPA filter are clean and dry, then put the HEPA
filter back on.
6. Close the dustbin lid and insert the dustbin assembly into the vacuum.
Cleaning Mops and Mop Holders
1.
The mops are cleaned automatically after every floor wipe.
2. When the vacuum docks with the charging station, a small amount of water is
released into an interior mop cleaning bay in the charging station. The vacuum will
run briefly and turn the mops in the cleaning bay to wash out dust and dirt. The
bay has a bank of soft nubs that help clean the mops.
3. Once the mops have been washed, the used water is transferred into the used
water container.
4. The vacuum then briefly runs a mop drying routine.
From time to time, it may be helpful to manually remove the mops and soak them in
warm water. You can add some mild detergent. Wash the mops by hand until clean.
Rinse in warm water, wring out by hand, and hang out to dry. However, doing this too
often may reduce the mops' lifespan.
