Distance sleeves in plastic process connections
2 Replacing distance sleeves
On account of modifications to the sensor, the shape and size of the threaded
holes on the sensor have been modified slightly. Check the following before
mounting the plastic process connections on the sensor:
1. If the sensor housing has a square connection, the distance sleeves have to
be positioned in the inner pitch circle diameter of the process connections.
Ex. sensor housing with square connection

2. If the sensor housing has a round connection, the distance sleeves have to be
positioned in the outer pitch circle diameter of the process connections.

3. Push the distance sleeves out of the process connection with a pen, for
example, and then insert them into the required position by hand.
