2.1 Charging the B
The Li-ion ba ery pack is not charged at the factory; please charge it before use. Charging the ba ery pack for the rst me
a er purchase or extended storage (more than 2 months) may not bring the ba ery pack to its normal maximum opera ng
capacity. Best opera on will require fully charging/ discharging the ba ery two or three mes before the opera ng capacity
will reach its best performance. The ba ery pack life may be depleted when it's opera ng me decreases even though it has
been fully and correctly charged. If this is the case, replace the ba ery pack.
2.2 Charger Supplied
Please use the speci ed charger provided by our company. Other models may cause explosion and personal injury. A er
installing the ba ery pack, and if the radio displays low ba ery with a voice prompt, please charge the ba ery.
2.3 Use Cau on with the Li-ion Ba ery
a. Do not short the ba ery terminals or throw the ba ery into a re. Never a empt to remove the casing from the ba ery
pack, as our company cannot be held responsible for any accident caused by modifying the ba ery.
b. The ambient temperature should be between 5 -40
range may not fully charge the ba ery.
c. Please turn o the radio before inser ng it into the charger. It may otherwise interfere with correct charging.
d. To avoid interfering with the charging cycle, please do not cut o the power or remove the ba ery during charging un l
the green light is on.
e. Do not recharge the ba ery pack if it is fully charged. This may shorten the life of the ba ery pack or damage the ba ery
pack.
f. Do not charge the ba ery or the radio if it is damp. Dry it before charging to avoid damage.
