Frequency Mode (VFO): Used for a temporary frequency assignment, such as a test frequency or quick eld programming if permi ed.
Channel Mode (MR): Used for selec ng preprogrammed channels.
Ex 1. Programming a Channel Repeater O set with CTCSS Tone
EXAMPLE New memory in Channel 28:
RX = 432.55000 MHz
TX = 437.55000 MHz (This is a (+ 5) O set)
TX CTCSS tone 123.0

(2) Press [VFO/MR] key to set the radio to VFO mode, and the VFO icon is displayed on the li .
