Installation Step 2 – The mounting block
Please note that the mounting block may not be included in the delivery and must be ordered
separately!
The mounting block is used to completely disconnect the system from the household water supply
and also provides a bypass function.
During normal operation, the middle valve is closed, and the two outer valves are open.
If the water softener or sediment filter is defective, or if water should bypass the system, the
customer can close the two outer valves to disconnect the softener from the water supply. The
middle valve is then opened, providing a continuous supply of untreated water.
