Installation Step 4 – Wastewater and overflow protection hose

Route the ends of the hoses separately to the drain connection (do not connect them with a T-
piece – risk of backflow!).
Use an open drain and/or a backflow preventer to avoid backflow. Ensure the hoses are
securely fastened to prevent them from coming loose due to pressure surges.

2. The gray cable is for the water meter and
must be plugged into the designated socket
in the center of the control valve.
1.Slide the 1/2" wastewater hose onto the
connection and secure it with the hose clamp.
The wastewater hose can be routed up to a
maximum of 120 cm vertically from the
system's wastewater connection. The total
length should not exceed 6 meters and must
have a minimal incline.
1. Connection for the overflow protection hose.
The connection for the overflow hose is located
on the housing of the water softener or the

brine tank. Slide the 1/2" overflow hose onto
this connection.
The connection is pressure-free and must be
installed with a slope.
Minimal to no water should leak out from here.
If routing the hose into the wastewater pipe is
not possible due to the lack of slope, the hose
can also be placed into a bucket or container.
