Integrate BNT 1650 control valve into main water supply
Installation Step 1:
Before beginning any work, close the main shut-off valve.
Next, open a downstream tap to release the water pressure.
The mounting block should be installed in the pipeline, after the water meter, water filter, and, if
applicable, the pressure reducer, by a qualified installer.
To prevent damage to the system, a protective filter should be installed upstream of the unit. If the
water pressure exceeds the maximum operating pressure, a pressure reducer is also required.
Pay close attention to the flow direction of the mounting block (indicated by the arrow on the block).
Install it according to the flow direction, with the test tap in the front and the plug at the back.
Close the two outer valves on the mounting block. Then open the middle bypass valve. The main
shut-off valve can now be reopened. Water will now flow through the bypass of the mounting block.
Check for leaks.
The following image illustrates how a water softener or sediment filter can be connected to the
household water supply using the mounting block.
