APPLICATION CONDITIONS OF THE COILS
Special Conditions
1. Short-circuit protection
Each solenoid must be connected in series with a fuse (max. 3 x I
60127-2-1) or motor contactor with rapid short-circuit and thermal triggering
corresponding to its rated current (the contactor being adjusted to this
current). With very small rated currents of the solenoids, a fuse with the lowest
current according to the stated IEC standard is adequate. This fuse may be
placed in the associated supply device or must be connected separately in
series. The rated voltage of the fuse must be equal to or greater than the
stated rated voltage of the solenoid. The cutoff capacity of the fuse cartridge
must be equal to or greater than the maximum expected short-circuit current
at the point of installation (usually 1500 A).
The nominal value of the fuse is quoted on the magnet.

2. Operation only with the accompanying valve
The solenoid types AC10- ... PD73 to AC10- ...-PD86 may only be operated
with a32 x 32 x 10 mm valve housing from metal or plastic (PA 6 GV). A larger
valve housing with better heat conductivity may be mounted at any time.
3. Individual installation
The solenoid types AC10- ... - PD47 to AC10- ... -PD72 are only suitable for
individual installation.
4. Operating temperature range
Comply with the operating temperature listed for each type in the "Electrical
Data"!
5. Ambient temperature > 55 °C
For solenoid types AC10- ...-6-PD53 and AC10- ... -6-PD66, a heat-resistant
cable tail is used for ambient temperatures > 55 °C!
