Correct usage
To ensure that the device functions correctly and will have a long service life,
please comply with the information in these operating instructions as well as the
operating conditions and the permisible ranges that are specified in the data
sheets of device used.
• If these instructions are ignored, no liability will be accepted from our side, and
the guarantee on the device and its accessories will also become invalid!
• This device is exclusively intended for use as a solenoid valve for the media
permitted according to the data sheet and for use in Explosion Group II,
Category 2G or 2D and Temperature Classes T4, T5 or T6 (refer to the
information on the Ex-approval plate
• The class of protection used is EEx m encapsulation for coils with cable
connections or the EEx em encapsulation for coils with a terminal box.
• The coils with terminal boxes are not authorized for Category 2 D.
• An other use, or any use exceeding the above provisions will be considered as
incorrect usage . Bürkert accepts no liability for any damage resulting from
such use. The risk will be borne by the user alone.
• Comply with the requirements of EN 50281-1-2, e.g. in respect of dust
deposits and temperatures!
