• The default administrator account is password protected. Please change the password
when first accessing the system.
• For the BIOS and default administrator account the initial Username is: AB
o Initial Password is: Pass123!
o The default answer to all security questions is: AB
• The AIM System is protected by Windows Defender antivirus software. Third party antivi-
rus software may be installed by the user's site per local IT policy.
• The AIM tablet will boot only from the hard disk drive.
• Entry of protected health information is not required to operate the software. Users
choosing to enter such information fall under the requirements established by their site for
protection of such information.
• Users operating the AIM System may elect to generate a report containing protected
health information, if entered. This report would be encrypted by BitLocker, if enabled,
but will not have any additional encryption or password protections when created. It is the
responsibility of the user electing to generate this report to subsequently protect this report
per the applicable IT Security procedures.
Failure to follow the above guidelines may result in unsecured patient health
information or unintended excessive electrical and acoustic stimulation. Connection
of the AIM system to a wireless network that includes other equipment may result in
previously unidentified patient, operator or third party risks.
Any changes to the wireless network, including but not limited to changes to the
network configuration, connection of additional items, disconnection of items and
equipment upgrades, after the AIM System has been configured to connect to it
may introduce new risks. These risks need to be identified, analyzed, evaluated and
controlled by the network administrator.
The AIM System features an internal Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 802.11ac,
dual band, 2x2 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth adapter. The adapter supports the following
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth standards:
a. IEEE 802.11abgn, 802.11ac, 802.11d, 802.11e, 802.11i, 802.11h, 802.11w
b. Dual Mode Bluetooth 4.2 (BLE)
