Adjusting the Bowden cable
(Fig. H)
If the Bowden cable (4) for the drive is mi-
saligned and has too much play, you can
adjust it.
1. Loosen the small locking nut (4a).
2. Turn the adjusting nut (4b) anticlock-
wise: The Bowden cable shortens.
3. Turn the adjusting nut (4b) clockwise:
The Bowden cable extends.
Storage
(Fig. J)
Set the cutting height of 38 mm in
front of both vertical bearing posi-
tions, for safe positioning of the machine.
Vertical storage (Stow Function)
1. Loosen the wing screws (11).
2. Place the U-handle (1) and lower bar
(3) over the machine.
3. Screw the wing screws (11) tight again.
In this position, the connecting
caps do not have to engage
neatly in the mount on the lawn mower
housing.
4. Tilt the machine backwards Use illustra-
tion J as a comparison.
Alternatively, you can fold up the mo-
wer even further when stored vertically:
1. Loosen the wing screws (11).
2. Place the U-handle (1) and lower bar
(3) over the machine.
3. Screw the wing screws (11) tight
again.
4. Loosen the quick-release levers (15)
and fold the U-handle (1) onto the lo-
wer bar (3).
5. Tilt the machine backwards Use illustra-
tion J as a comparison.
6. You can place the empty grass collec-
tion box (13) in the folded U-handle
(1).

Keep the equipment dry and out of
reach of children. The machine cable
must not be jammed when you do this.

Allow the motor to cool before storing
the equipment in a confined space.
•
Do not cover the equipment with nylon
bags as moisture could build up.

original parts or by use other than for the
intended purpose.
Transport
Before transporting the device,
switch it off, pull out the mains plug
and wait for the blade to come to
a stop. There is a risk of personal
injury.

Use the handle (6) to transport or move
the device.
