Level gauge
The level gauge (14) is located on the side
of the grass catcher (13).
Flap (14) open:
grass catcher (13) empty
Flap (14) closed:
grass catcher (13) full
The level indicator (14) works when
the device is in operation.
Adjusting the Cut Height
(Fig. E)
Switch off the equipment, discon-
nect the plug and wait for the blade
to stop. There is a risk of injury.
1. Hold the cut height adjusting lever (7)
and guide it past the indent (25) to the
desired cut height setting.
2. The handle (6) may be used to help,
in order to prevent to mower rolling
away.
The correct height is around 25 – 40 mm
for a decorative lawn and around
30 – 60 mm for a used lawn.
A higher cut height should be se-
lected for the first cut of the season.
Observe the noise protection and
local regulations.

Mulching kit

Inserting the mulching kit
1. Remove the grass collection box (13),
if used.
2. Lift the impact protection (5).
3. Insert the mulching kit (22) into the
ejection shaft.
4. Press the bottom of the mulching kit
into the ejection chute until the mulch-
ing kit locks into place.
5. Fold the impact protection (5) onto the
mulching kit (22).
Removing the mulching kit
1. Lift the impact protection (5).
2. Hold the mulching kit (22).
3. Squeeze the grip (26) to unlock the
mulching kit (22).
4. Lift the mulching kit (22) out of the
ejection chute.
Side grass ejection
(Fig. G)
When using the side ejection chute, the cut
grass falls sideways onto the lawn.
Do not use the side grass ejection
when mulching.
1. Remove the grass collection box (13)
(see "Attaching/removing the grass
collection box").
2. Insert the mulching kit (22) (see
"Mulching kit").
This prevents the clippings from
accumulating in the ejection chute.
3. Lift the impact protection on the side
ejection (10).
4. Hook in the side ejection chute (21).
