9. Attachment / Before start-
ing the equipment
For reasons of packing, your log splitter is
not completely assembled.
Fitting the operating arms (Fig. E)
• Lubricate the slide plate (c) slightly.
• Insert the operating arm (e) with the
opening in the transverse link (d).
• Insert the hexagon screw M 8 x 30 from
above, tighten with washer and lock nut
from below, so that operating parts re-
main moveable.
Mount the safety bar on the operating
arm (Fig. F)
Screw down the safety bar with two Phillips'
head screws, two washers and 2 stop nuts
on both operating arms.

Mount the rubber stopper
Mount the rubber stopper on both operat-
ing arms with a retaining plate, 2 carriage
plates M 8x35, 2 washers 8 mm and 2 safe-
ty nuts M8.
Mounting the running wheels (Fig. G)
• Put the wheel axle (f) through the drilled
holes.
• Attach a washer, a running wheel (g) and
another washer (h) on either side.
• Attach the protection cap (i) by pressing
it slightly.
Stroke limit for short logs (Fig. H)
Lower splitting knife position about 10 cm
above table.
• Move splitting knife to the desired position
• Release one operating arm
• Switch motor off
• Release the second operating arm
• Release the locking screw (k)
• Push the stroke set rod (j) to the top until
it is stopped by the spring
• Retighten the locking screw (k)
• Switch motor on
• Check upper position
Log table for short logs up to 61.5 cm
(Fig. I)
Insert the log table (7) through the upper
brackets (l) and let it click into place.
Secure the table with the toggle screw (15).
