DEPTH OF FIELD
When the camera lens is focused on a certain
subject,
objects in the
foreground and background will appea
r
acceptably sharp in
the
picture.
The range
over which the foreground and background ob-
jects are reproduced acceptably sharp is called
the
depth of field
.
