AUTOMATIC EXPOSURE (1)
Your CONTAX RTS features fully automatic through-the-Iens
electronic exposure control.
By simply presetting the film speed and lens aperture , its highly
sophisticated electronic circuit functions to vary the shutter
speed continuously and automatically according to the subject
brightness , thus ensuring correct exposure under any light con-
dition.
Besides fully automatic exposure control through aperture pre-
selection , your CONTAX RTS provides semi-automatic exposure
control through preselection of the shutter speed .
Automatic exposure through aperture preselection
1. Turn the shutter control dial and align the 'AUTO' setting with
the index on the camera top.

When thus adj usted , the green shutler speed pointer in the view-
finder will overlap the 'A' setting .
• Make sure the exposure compensation poin ter is aligned with
'X1 '.
