When taking blank shots, make it a rule
to remove the lens cap and aim the
camera at a bright subject or scene; or
else, release the shutter control dial from
the 'A' setting. If the magnetic release
button is depressed with the lens cap over
the lens and the camera set on 'A', the
shutter will remain open over a consider-
able length of time, rendering the film
advance system inoperable. In such a
case, the shutter can be closed instanta-
neously by turning the shutter control
dial away from the 'A' setting, thus
restoring the normal function of the film
advance system.
(If the camera is to be used on the
automatic mode of operation, make sure
the shutter control dial is reset to the'
A'
setting.)

Bei Probebelichtungen machen Sie es sich
zur Regel, den Objektivschutzdeckel
abzunehmen und die Kamera auf das
helle Motiv oder die helle Szene zu
richten; oder sonst rasten Sie den Versch-
luBzeitenknopf aus der 'A'-Ein-Stellung
aus.
Wenn bei nicht entferntem Objektivschut-
zdeckel und bei 'A'-Einstellung der
magnetische Ausloseknopf hinunter-
gedruckt wird, bleibt der VerschluB fur
eine langere Zeit geoffnet und verhindert
so einen Filmtransport. In einem solchen
Fall kann durch Ausrasten des Versch-
luBzeitenknopfes aus der 'A' -Einstellung
der VerschluB sofort geschlossen und so
die normale Arbeitsweise des Filmtrans-
port-systems wieder hergestellt werden.
(Wenn die Kamera in der automatischen
Betriebsart benutzt werden soli, ver-
sichern Sie sich, daB der VerschluBzeiten-
knopf wieder auf' A' zuruckgestellt ist.
