Preparation
Attaching device-side coupling part to trolley

1 Press the release button (A) and separate the bed coupling
into the device-side coupling part (B) and the bed-side
coupling part (C).

2 Loosen the screw handle (D) and position the device-side
coupling part (B) at a free location on the trolley column (E).
Ensure that no hoses or cables are pinched. The protrusion (F)
must be fully located behind the circumferential edge of the
trolley.
3 Align the coupling part horizontally and tighten the screw
handle by hand. Check for secure attachment.
Check height compensation mechanism
4 Move the coupling part at the coupling head (G) upwards and
downwards to the end stops.
The coupling part must move freely and spring back
automatically to the initial horizontal position.
If necessary, the release button (A) can be re-fitted to the opposite
side of the coupling part (only by trained personnel who have
completed DrägerService training).
Attaching bed-side coupling part to bed
Conditions for attachment:
– Only use the bed coupling on beds with a minimum rail or bar
load-bearing capacity of 200 N.
– Only attach the coupling part on a permanently mounted rail or
permanently mounted horizontal bar on the bed.
– Only attach the coupling part at the head-end of the bed.

Attachment to a rail
G 1 Fit coupling part (A) onto the rail.
2 Tighten the screw handle (B).
The bed-side coupling part can also be attached to the rail with the
screw handle facing upwards.

Attachment to a bar

1 Fit coupling part (A) onto the bar.
2 Position the coupling part at a 45° angle and tighten the screw
handle (B).
3 Align the coupling connector (C) horizontally.
