9. Maintenance
The inspection and maintenance of a water softener is specified in the DIN EN 806-5 standard. Regular maintenance ensures trouble-free and
hygienic operation in the long term.
The water softener must be serviced at least once a year by the factory customer service or by a trained specialist technician. By concluding
a maintenance contract, you ensure that the maintenance work is carried out regularly.
The NeoSoft 2500 Connect offers semi-annual and annual maintenance.
9.1. Semi-annual maintenance
A maintenance wizard supports you during maintenance
•
In the "Service" menu, tap on "Maintenance" and select the semi-annual maintenance.
•
Measure and check the raw water hardness.
Take a water sample from the sampling valve on the inlet side
using the hardness measuring set.

Measure and check the soft water hardness.
Take a water sample from a tap behind the NeoSoft 2500 Connect
using the hardness measuring set.
•
Carry out a visual inspection.
Check for leaks, water residue or damage.
•
The semi-annual maintenance was carried out.
