5.3 Rotary switch
The rotary switch is used to start and
stop processing and select the
speed.
Symbol Description
Switch off the appliance.
Switch on the appliance.
Lowest speed: Emulsifying
and processing food that
should not be blended too
fine.
Highest speed: Blending,
puréeing and frothing
food.
Instantaneous switching
(pulse function): Highest
speed as long as the
rotary switch is held in this
position.
Tip: You can adjust the speed step-
lessly between
5.4 Control panel
The control panel allows you to use
certain functions of your appliance
and obtain information on the operat-
ing status. Only the programs that
are suitable for the accessory light
up in the control panel.
Note: If the touch display is wet or
soiled, this can restrict functioning.
