All about batteries/rechargeable batteries:
• Use alkaline batteries for best performance and longer life.
• Use only the battery type recommended for the unit.
• Batteries must only be replaced by an adult.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
• Do not mix different types of batteries or old and new batteries.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before charging.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be recharged only under adult supervision.
• When the product is not used for an extended time, switch button to "OFF" position for longer battery life time.
• We also recommend removing batteries to prevent possible leakage and damage to the unit.
• If moisture gets into the battery compartment, dry with a cloth.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy and taken to special waste collection point.
• Do not throw batteries into a fire as they may explode or leak.
Preparation
Included Batteries are only intended to use for demonstration at retail.
Insertion of batteries should be done by an adult as follows:
1. Set the switch on the battery compartment to "OFF".
2. Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment.
3. Insert the 3 x 1.5V AA (LR6) batteries. Please check if the polarity is correct.
4. Screw the cover of the battery compartment back on again.
5. Set the switch on the battery compartment to "ON".
Function
The BABY born® Interactive Star Scooter only operates properly when the ON/OFF/Try Me switch is switched to
the ON position.

The packaging includes 2 sticker sheets for decorating and prettifying your interactive BABY born product. The
stickers can be removed.
Important
Before you can play the interactive feature, please turn the hand throttle or press the button in the middle of the
handle bar or place your BABY born® doll on the seat of the star scooter.
Interaction with BABY born® Interactive
Please note that the following functions will only work with the new BABY born® interactive doll, which has to
have the "Interactive –Logo" on the packaging.
All explanations are front view oriented.
Interactive functions:

• from the right side, you see the flash light of the scooter and hear the scooter horn sound accompanied by the
starting engine sound.
