Check dimensions
Check the inner diameter of the metal frame
(tolerance Øi: +2 mm / -1 mm) to the outer diameter (A1 and A2)
of the GPD (A1)x(A2)-ZS/G/F/1/(Z)x(22-54)+(Z)x(10-21).
Clean metal frames and cables.
Remove the onion-ring-inserts
Remove onion-ring-inserts ZS from the
GPD (A1)x(A2)-ZS/G/F/1/(Z)x(22-54)+(Z)x(10-21).
Apply UGA lubricant on the rubber cutting surfaces of the GPD
Place a maximum of one cable in an open-
(A1)x(A2)....
ing.
Insert GPD (A1)x(A2)...
Insert GPD (A1)x(A2)... into the metal frame.
Insert the seal until the covering flange is attached to the frame.
Adjust onion-ring-inserts
Adjust onion-ring-inserts by removing the individual onion rings
according to the actual cable diameters.
The onion rings must be removed without residue. If necessary,
cut onion rings with a sharp knife at the set point and tear them
off. Fold onion-ring-inserts around the cables.
Apply UGA lubricant to the cables and rubber cutting surfaces of
the onion-ring-inserts.
The rubber cutting surfaces must touch with the inserted cable
without pressure and must not overlap.
