Supplied standard attachment and adapters

The Vortex Mixer is supplied with a standard attachment. The two additional adapters (adapter
for 1.5/2.0 ml tubes and adapter for microplates) are not included in the delivery package but can
be ordered separately (see 9. Ordering information). The standard attachment is used for mixing
single or multiple tubes with speeds up to 3,500 rpm. It can be used in touch mode by applying
pressure on the standard attachment or in program mode via the touch screen.
1.5/2.0 ml tube adapter
With the adapter for 1.5/2.0 ml tubes attached, the maximum preset speed defaults to 1,500 rpm
to mix up to 15 tubes at the same time when set in program mode via the touch screen.
NOTE: Touch mode is not available for this adapter.
Microplate adapter
With the adapter for microplates attached the maximum preset speed defaults to 1,500 rpm
when set in program mode via the touch screen.
NOTE: Touch mode is not available for this adapter. This adapter is not intended for use with
deepwell plates.
