1.6.1. LAN connection and power supply for the
camera
The USB to LAN adapter 43-9300 is required to
operate one of the cameras mentioned in the
instructions in conjunction with one of the three
basic electronics mentioned in section 1.6. At
the start of the following procedure, disconnect
the SIP intercom station from its PoE supply.
Connect the Behnke IP camera to the RJ45
the USB to LAN adapter.
To do so, remove the network cable on the IP
camera. If necessary, extend (1 m max.) the LAN
cable from the USB to LAN adapter together with
the network cable and port extender (included
with the Behnke IP camera). In the next step,
connect the 4-pin HPI connector
illumination to the USB port of the SIP intercom
station. Lastly, Alternative switching options of
the illumination connect the 2-pin HPI connec-

to the USB extension port adapter connector
labelled "Camera Illumination" in the
+/- 12 Volt= of the SIP intercom station.
Please also refer to the mounting example.
Then put the intercom station into operation
(PoE supply).
For connection, see page 34 or in the inst-
ructions supplied with the LAN/USB adapter

1.6.2. Power supply
Power for the Behnke IP camera is supplied via
the ethernet port (PoE). When operated with
the series 20 IP basic electronics, power for the
camera is supplied via the Behnke USB to LAN
adapter 43-9300.
If the camera is operated independently, all
items described in the technical specifications
of the camera must be observed.
1.6.3. LED Illumination

of
Cameras with an LED illumination have an
additional connection cable
Continuous power supply is possible. To do this,
connect this connection cable to the „Camera
Illumination" slot of the basic electronics.
Alternative switching options of the illumination

"Camera Illumination" in the web frontend of
the SIP intercom station. Further information on
this can be found in the web frontend and the
help for the intercom station.
