Connecting the bus cable
1.
Ensure that the bus cable is not supplied with electrical energy.
2.
Prepare the bus cable as shown in Figure 7 (page 58).
3.
Open the safety catch on the cover and unscrew the cover.
4.
Pass the prepared bus cable through the EEx d certified cable inlet.
5.
Fix the shielding to the module support using the cable clip and the two screws.
6.
Screw the EEx d certified cable inlet.
7.
Connect the red and green cores as shown in Figure 8 (page 58) to terminals 3 and 7 of the basic PCB
(the polarity does not matter).

Note
Before supplying the positioner with electrical energy, screw on the end cover and lock with the
safety catch.
