Fitting the side cup
Dismantling
■ Unscrew the screw plug [6-1].
■ Loosen counter nut [6-3].
■ Unscrew connection flange [6-2].
■ Purge paint channel with suitable cleaning solution.
Assembly
■ Insert connection flange [6-2] and screw tight.
■ Tighten counter nut [6-3].
■ Insert screw plug [6-1] and screw tight.
9. Maintenance and repairs
The following chapter describes the procedures for maintenance and
service work to the side cup spray gun. Maintenance and service work
may only be carried out by specialist personnel.
Warning!
Risk of injuries from components coming loose or leaking
material.
If maintenance work is performed while still connected to the com-
pressed air circuit, components can unexpectedly work loose and mate-
rial can leak.
→ Always disconnect the side cup spray gun from the compressed air
circuit before performing any maintenance work.
Warning!
Risk of injury from sharp edges
There is a risk of injury from sharp edges when fitting the nozzle set.
→ Wear protective gloves.
■ Always interrupt the compressed air supply to the air connection [1-7]
before performing any maintenance and repair work.
Spare parts are available for carrying out repairs (see chapter 14).
9.1. Replace trigger guard
Remove trigger guard
■ Loosen counter nut [8-3] of adjusting screw [8-4].
