2. Carry out insulation measurement for each socket (potential equalization conductor
against all L phase and against neutral conductor N):
Positive test result: measurement in each case min. 1 ohm
3. When the measurement has been carried out restore generator governor to its
original state (connection of the potential equalization conductors).
4) Inspection of the protective equipment (line protection, insulation monitor)
5) Carry out a functional check of the equipment
6) Inspecting the inscriptions and warnings

Caution! Leaking engine oil and gasoline contaminates the soil and ground water
∙ Use oil catching containers
∙ Recycle used oil
Caution! Engine oil can be hot - danger of burns
∙ Let the engine cool off
∙ Wear protective gloves and goggles
Check the oil level
∙ The engine must be shut off for a few minutes to allow
the oil to collect in the oil sump.
∙ Make sure the power generator is level.
∙ RS 14 SUPER SILENT: Open the engine cover
∙ Pull out the oil dip stick and wipe with a clean cloth
∙ Insert oil dip stick completely and pull back out
› If the oil level is above the top mark: Bleed off oil
› If the oil level is below the lower mark:
Caution! The unit is equipped with an oil pressure sensor. If the oil level is too
low, a warning is issued. The engine is not shut off!
