∙ The power generator may not be operated without a muffler.
∙ The power generator may not be operated without an air filter or with the air filter
cover open.
Refuelling own tank
∙ The tank of the power generator may not be filled while the power generator is
operating or if the engine is still hot.
∙ Inspections of the power generator's tank (opening of the filler cap) may not be done
while the power generator is operating or if the engine is still hot.
∙
Note: observe the tank indicator!
∙ Filling aids for filling the tank must be used.
Use of external refuelling
∙ The maximum inclination angle on all axes is 5°.
∙ Use of external refuelling is prohibited when retracted.
∙ Use of external refuelling is prohibited in EMERGENCY OPERATION.
Cleaning
∙ The power generator may not be cleaned during operation or if the engine is still hot.
Maintenance and repair
∙ Only the maintenance or repair procedures described in this manual may be done by
the operating personnel.
∙ The power generator may not be serviced during operation or if the engine is still hot.
∙ All further maintenance or repair work may only be done by specially trained and
authorized service personnel.
∙ Always remove the spark plug connector before beginning maintenance or repair
work.
∙ The maintenance intervals stated in this manual must be adhered to.
Putting the power generator out of service
∙ If the power generator is not needed for more than 30 days it must be put out of
service.
∙ Store the power generator in a dry and secured place.
∙ Prevent resinous residue in the fuel system with appropriate fuel additives.
Documentation
∙ One copy of the operating manual must be kept with the power generator.
∙ The operating instructions and service manual of the engine (Briggs & Stratton
Corporation), is an integral part of these operating instructions.
Environmental Protection
∙ In order to protect the environment, the packaging material must be recycled
according to the regulations of the place of operation.
∙ The place of operation must be safeguarded through contamination by leaking
operating fluids.
