Filling the pump
Fill up the garden pump every time before
you start using it. Caution: Avoid dry run-
ning of the pump! Danger of overheating!
Never touch an overheated pump! There is
a danger of burns!
When switching on the pump, ensure that
the pump and suction hose are completely
filled with water in order to prevent the dry
running of the pump. Dry running dam-
ages the device.
1. Open the filling screw (9) on the gar-
den pump.
2. Bleed the air from the connected suc-

3. Fill up with water to the filling point
(approx. 1.7 litres) and screw the filler
screw (9) back in.
Checks before initional

that the plug socket is sufficiently
fused (at least 10 A).
• Make sure that moisture or water
never come in contact with the
mains connection. There is a risk
of electrocution.
• Control the suction hose. The end
of the suction hose must be placed
in water.
• Control the suction hose. The end
