Servicing
This service manual is only intended for your information. The possession of this manual does not
autorize servicing.
Servicing may only be performed if:
e you are trained on the respective unit by B. Braun,
registered for update service,
® possess the nessessary test equipments and tools and
fulfill the following personal prerequisites (education, knowledge)
Technical Safety Inspections
B. Braun also recommends attending a training or at least perform the safety inspection according
to the current manual version, because:
e the technical safety inspection demands observing the procedure information in this service
manual,
e
the service manual also represents a reference for measurements,
e the service program must be activated depending on the unit types. This can lead to dangerous
unit conditions if handled improperly, besides a special service adapter is required to activate the
service program.
Current Service Manual
This service manual represents the current status at the time of issue and is subjected to technical
amendments, especially software. The change status of the service manual is indicated by an index
number on the front page.
Update Service
The possession of this service manual does not automatically include an update service. Registration
for update service by:
- attending a B. Braun Melsungen technical training or
- written order to the B. Braun sales department (against costs).
Exclusion of Liability
B. Braun Melsungen AG excludes all liabilities for personal, property or other injuries, which are
caused by
- using a false service manual or a service manual which does not correspond to the current edition,
during maintenance, repair and servicing of the unit,
- service technicians not registered for update service,
~ service technicians not attending a technical training by B. Braun Melsungen AG for the
respective unit.
