Safety Instructions
The handling in accordance with safety requirements for operation of the radial piston pumps is up
to the manufacturer or the operator of the higher level machine.
13.1.
Handling in Accordance with Safety Requirements
We recommend integrating this User Manual into the maintenance schedule of the machinery.
In order to ensure that the radial piston pumps are handled in accordance with safety requirements and
operated without faults, it is essential to observe the following:
All the safety instructions in the user manual
All safety instructions in the safety standards of the manufacturer and the operator of the machine
relevant to the particular application
All the relevant national and international safety and accident prevention regulations, standards and
guidelines, such as for example the safety regulations of the trade association, EC Machinery
Directive, regulations of TÜV and the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and the ATEX Directive
1999/92EU, in particular the following standards pertaining to the safety of machinery:

13.2.
Intended Use
The radial piston pumps may be operated exclusively within the framework of the
data and applications specified in this user manual and in accordance to the Directive
2014/34/EU. Any other or more extensive use is not permitted. The manufacturer is not
liable for damages of improper use or operation. Only the user or operator is liable for
damages of improper operation. Intended use also includes the observance of the
user manual and the adherence to the inspection- and maintenance instructions.
