Do not operate the monitor if it
is visibly damaged.

Always disconnect the negative
terminal of the vehicle's electri-
cal system before working on
the monitor to prevent the risk of
short circuits. If the vehicle has
an additional battery, its nega-
tive terminal must also be dis-
connected.
•
When working on the following
cables, only use insulated cable
lugs, plugs, and tab sleeves:
Do not use porcelain wire con-
nectors.
•
Use a crimping tool to connect
the cables.
•

(ground) screw the cable in one
of the following ways.
Ensure that there is a good
ground connection.
•
When disconnecting the bat-
tery, all data stored in all volatile
memory will be lost. Data may
be reset, depending on the ve-
hicle equipment options. Follow
the instructions of the respec-
tive vehicle manufacturer in this
case.

above and persons with re-
duced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities or lack of expe-
rience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the
monitor in a safe way and under-
stand the hazards involved.

Children shall not play with the
monitor.
•
Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children
without supervision.

Secure the monitor in such a way

tions can result in short circuits,

The airbag being trig-
gered
Damage to electronic con-

Electrical malfunctions

horn, ignition, lights)
