To extend the life of the garment, hand
wash and drip dry.

Wearing recommendation
Slightly loosen the bands of the garment
for night-time wear. If experiencing any
pain, or discomfort, reduce the com-
pression (mmHg) applied or remove de-
vice. Inform your clinician of your ac-
tion. When bands are placed correctly
they should slightly overlap, leaving no
space between bands.
Do not tuck bands. Hook tabs should ne-
ver touch the skin!
Donning instructions
Step 1: Slide the thumb through the
hand wrap's thumb hole. The seam
should run from the base of the thumb
to the wrist. The curved portion of the
wrap should be in the palm of the hand.
Step 2: Unroll the band closest to the
fingers and secure it with the velcro tab
to the hand wrap with firm and comfor-
table compression. The top edge of the
hand wrap should line up with the base
of the fingers.
Step 3: Wrap the remaining band around
the wrist and secure the Velcro tab. Be
sure not to over tighten the wrist band
so that fluid can freely move out of the
hand. The circaid juxtafit essentials
hand wrap should overlap with the cir-
caid juxtafit essentials arm.
Note: Once all bands are secured inspect
the garment for any gaps or creases. Ad-
just the bands as necessary.
Doffing instructions
Step 1: Detach the bands, starting with
the wrist band, and fold them back onto
themselves to keep the hook tabs lint-
free.
