Cleaning the appliance

Before cleaning the appliance, pull out
the mains plug or switch off the fuse.
Risk of electric shock!
Never use a steam cleaner to defrost or
clean the appliance.
The steam may cause an electric
shock or a short circuit!
Do not use abrasive or acidic cleaning
agents.
Do not use chemically aggressive clean
ing agents such as defrosting sprays,
oven sprays or solvents.
Do not use abrasive sponges, brushes or
sharp edged implements! Damage to
surface!
Wipe out the appliance with a cloth and
lukewarm water containing a normal
household detergent.
The rinsing water must not drip into the
temperature selector (Fig. 2/1) or
interior light (Fig. 2/2)!
Clean the door seal with water only and
then dry thoroughly!
Clean the condensation channel
(Fig. 6) and drainage hole with a cotton
bud, etc.
The rinsing water must not run through
the drainage hole into the evaporation
pan!
After cleaning the appliance, leave to
dry with the door open.
Insert the mains plug or switch on the
fuse and switch on the appliance again.

Active carbon filters

The active carbon filters (Fig. 1/5)
exchange the air and eliminate odours in
the appliance.
We recommend replacing the filters
every year.
Replacement filters are available from
customer service.
Tips for saving energy
Install the appliance in a dry, well venti
lated room.
Do not install the appliance in direct
sunlight.
Do not install the appliance near a heat
source such as a radiator or cooker.
If installation next to a heat source is
unavoidable, place a suitable insulating
plate between the appliances.
Allow drinks to cool down before plac
ing in the appliance!
Open the appliance door as briefly as
possible.
