Error messages
The RA 4500 D carries out an automatic error diagnosis. The result of a diagnosis is an er-
ror code. The string "Err" then appears as the first three characters of the display. At the
same time, the error code is displayed as the fourth character. The error codes are listed
in Table 4. Error messages may also be confirmed with the control buttons.

The continuity resistance between measuring points 7 and
3 should be less than 25 ohms. If the continuity resistance
is higher, the heating element with integrated sensor must
be replaced.
