1. TEST SELECTION: Scroll to NOT IN VEHICLE and select this option
if the battery is not connected to a vehicle. Otherwise, select the IN-
VEHICLE option. The in-car test provides options for testing the starter
and charging system.
IMPORTANT: The performance of the starter system and the
charging system depends on the condition of the battery. An intact
and fully charged battery is a prerequisite for all further system tests.
2. BATTERY TYPE: Choose NORMAL (lead acid), AGM (VLIES)
or GEL .
3. STANDARD: Select the standard system of the battery. The following
standard systems and ranges are available for selection:

SAE

4. BATTERY VALUE: Select the characteristic value. The value is
increased and decreased in steps of five. If you want to increase the
change speed, press and hold the UP or DOWN arrow button.
5. Press the ENTER key to start the test. After a few seconds, the results
are displayed. These include the measured voltage and an
assessment of the battery condition. The tester also displays the
selected standard system and the characteristic value.
