The tubular drives R8/17PSF to R120/11PSF and R20/17PSF+ to R120/11PSF+ are intended solely for the operation of awnings and winter garden
shades. Linked operation is only possible if all sub systems run exactly synchronously and reach the top end limit at the same time.
Please use models R8/17PRF+ to R40/17PRF+ for use in roller shutters. For product liability reasons, all other applications are subject to prior
approval from Becker.
If the controls and drives are used for any purpose other than that specified above or if modifications are made to the equipment which affect
the safety of the system, the manufacturer or supplier will not accept any liability for any injuries or damage caused to persons or property, nor
for consequential damage arising as a result thereof.

Installing the tubular drive
Bearer plate
When installing the drive, the following steps must be carried out:
1) Removing the mounting pin
The mounting pin engages automatically when inserted. To remove the mounting pin
slide the bearer plate upwards and pull out the mounting pin (Fig. 1).
2) Installing a drive adaptor with safety catch
R8/17PSF to R20/17PSF(+):
The insert direction of the drive adaptor safety catch is prescribed by its shape. When
installing the drive adaptor, always ensure that the safety catch engages. A „clicking"
sound can be heard when the drive adaptor safety catch engages properly. Pull on the
drive adaptor to check that it is located securely (Fig. 2).

R30/17PSF(+) to R120/11PSF(+):
Here, the drive adaptor is secured with an M6x12 screw. This is fastened using a plain
M6 washer and a suitable tooth lock washer (Fig. 2).

Caution!
All electrical connections must be made by a qualified electrician. The
current supply must be disconnected before installation. These installa-
tion instructions must be given to the electrician installing the equip-
ment. Ensure that no damage occurs to the antenna insulation. The
antenna carries electric potential.
