4. TAPE TRANSPORT MECHANISM DISASSEMBLY
Caution:
Be sure
to set
the camera/recorder
to
the unloading/stop mode when dismantling
the tape transport mechanism and
reinstalling
it.

Subchassis Assembly Removal
4-1-1.
Cassette holder <CSH> (Fig. 4-1)
Caution:
Set the CSH to the eject state when
removing the CSD and CSH.
(Move the
subchassis
eject arm in the direction of
arrow
(A).
(1) Cassette holder <CSH>
1)
Remove three
(3) screws
holding the trouble
sensor.
2)
Remove six (6) screws.

idler gear <IG>,

<SCH> and subchassis
assembly <SCA>

Components
to remove
in advance:
¢ Cassette holder <CSH>
(1) Subchassis plate <SCP> and take-up reel disk
<TRDD
1)
Remove four (4) screws.
2)
Release two (2) tabs holding the end LEDs.
Caution:
Be careful
not to break the tabs or
:
damage the flat cables of the end LEDs.
3) Pull out the TRD in the direction of the arrow.
(2) Idler gear <!IG>
Caution:
Remove
the SCP and TRD
in advance
before
removing the IG.
1) Remove one (1) washer.
(3) Subchassis holder <SCH> and subchassis
assembly <SCA>
Caution:
Remove the SCP, TRD and IG in advance
before removing the SCH and SCA.
1)
Remove one (1) screw.
2)
Remove the SCH in the direction of the arrow.
3)
Remove the flat cable of the mechanism state
switch from the trouble sensor.
(This flat
cable
is fixed to the trouble sensor using
double-sided
adhesive
tape.)
Caution:
Be careful not to damage the flat
cable of the mechanism state switch
or trouble sensor.
4)
Remove three (3) screws.
5)
Remove the SCA in the direction of the arrow.
