3. NORWAL DISASSEMBLY METHOD
Perform the following to dismantle the camera/
recorder
if unloading
is performed normally
(the
camera/recorder
can be set to the eject state).
If unloading cannot be done,
refer to "2.
DISASSEMBLY METHOD WHEN TROUBLE OCCURS".

Board Removal!
3-1-1.
Cassette
lid <CSL>,
opening
right case <RC>,
accessary shoe <ACS> , electronic
viewfinder
(EVF) and right case <RC>

(1) Cassette
lid <CSL>

Caution
1: Be sure to perform the following to
remove
the cassette
lid.
If it is
removed
in a different way,
the
cassette holder may be damaged.
Caution 2: When reinstalling,
perform the reverse
procedure
to removal
described below.
1)
Move the CSL in the direction of arrow
(A) to
release tab (B) from rib (C) of the CSL.
(When reinstalling,
hold tab (B), then insert
it into rib (C) of the CSL.)
2)
Move the CSL in the direction of arrow
(D) to
release
tab
(E) of the cassette
holder
from
rib (F) of the CSL.
3)
Move the CSL in the direction of arrow
(G) to
release two (2) tabs
(H) of the CSL from
section
(J) of the cassette holder.
(2) Opening the right case <RC> (Fig. 3-1-2)
1)
Remove the back-up battery holder.
2)
Open the AV jack cover.
3)
Remove twelve
(12) screws.
4)
Open the right case in the direction of the
arrow.
5)
Disconnect three (3) connectors.

Caution:
Open the RC in advance before
removing
the ACS.
1)
Remove one
(1) screw.

Caution:
Open the RC in advance before
removing
the EVF
1)
Remove two (2) screws.
Caution:
The EVF plate and plate spring are
removed on their own when the EVF is
removed.

1)
Remove two (2) screws.

Disconnect
two
(2) connectors.
