2. DISASSEMBLY METHOD WHEN TROUBLE OCCURS
The following shows the disassembly method
that
should be taken when the camera/recorder does not
operate normally.
When it operates normally,
refer to "3. NORMAL DISASSEMBLY METHOD".

How to Make Unloading
(Figs.
2-1,
2-2)
Perform the following procedure
to dismantle the
camera/recorder
if unloading
is not performed
normally
(the camera/recorder
cannot
be set
to
the eject state).
1) Remove twelwe
(12) screws.
(See Fig. 2-1)
2) Remove the right case
in the direction of the
arrow.
3) Disconnect
three
(3) connectors.

Release two (2) tabs.
(See Fig. 2-2)
10) Disconnect
three
(3) falt cables.
11) Remove one
(1) screw.
12) Release two (2) tabs.
13) Open the main circuit board
in the direction
of the arrrow.
(The main and process
circuit
boards
are connected
via an board-in
type connector.
Advice
1:
If the defect
is in the electric circuit system,
apply 3V DC to pattern
(A) of the main circuit
board to unload the camera/recorder.
If the defect
is in the tape transport mechanism,
perform the following steps.

Remove one
(1) screw.
Remove
the front case
in the direction of
the arrow.
Disconnect
one
(1) connector
from the back
of the main circuit board.
Remove the IR/LED circuit board in the
direction of the arrow.
Remove
the operation
switch unit
in the
direction
of the arrow.
DC3V
(+) (-)
fis
Disconnect
two (2) flat cables and one
(1)
connector.
Remove four (4) screws.
Remove
the camera
block
in the direction
of
the arrow.
Disconnect
one
(1) flat cable
on the
autofocus circuit board.
Remove three
(3) screws.
