This is how to avoid acci-
dents and injuries from an
electric shock:
• Check the power line and exten-
sion cable for damage and age-
ing prior to each use. Do not
use the appliance if the cable is
damaged or worn.
• Make sure that the rated voltage
matches the details on the type
plate.
• Connect the appliance to a
socket with a fuse of at least
16 A.
• Connect the appliance to a
socket with a residual current
device (RCD) with a tripping
current of not more than 30 mA.
• Ensure that the power line does
not become damage by being
pulled over sharp edges, be-
coming trapped or by pulling
on the line.
• Never use the power line to pull
the plug out of the socket or to
pull the appliance. Protect the
power line from heat, oil and
sharp edges.
• Switch the appliance off and
unplug the power chord:
- when you are not using the
device or when you are
transporting or leaving it un-
attended;
- when you inspect the ma-
chine, clean it or remove
blockages;
- when you perform cleaning
or maintenance work, or
swap accessories;
- if the connection cable is
damaged or entangled,
- after contact with foreign
bodies or if abnormal vibra-
tion occurs.
