INPUT LEVEL volume
When the unit is used in combination with the separately
purchased
Pioneer stereo amplifier
A-X700, stereo tuner
F-X700, FX-500, etc., the volume knob should be set in the
center click position (W). In this position, volume will be ad-
justed to optimum levels.
When the unit is used with other stereo components, the
volume levels may need fine adjustment. In this case, if
the volume is too low and noise is heard, turn the volume
control knob to the right ( (> ). If the volume is too loud
and sound is distorted, turn the control knob to the left
(NM).

© LINE OUTPUT (PLAY) terminal
Playback signals are transmitted from here to the stereo
amplifier. The accessory
pin-plug cords should
be con-
nected between these terminals and the stereo amplifier's
TAPE 1 PLAY (PLAY ©) terminals.
© AUTO FUNCTION TAPE terminal
When
the
unit is used
in combination
with
Pioneer's
A-X900 or A-X700 stereo amplifier, the mini plug is con-

tion is not necessary when the unit is used in combination
with any amplifier other than the two models mentioned
